If you have any interest in today's airline industry, you will have noticed many new carriers in the last twenty some years.  It gets pretty difficult to identify the numerous liveries at a glance without some kind of reference material.  Well my fellow airline watchers, your problem is solved.  Well, at least for the time being that is.

I have just acquired Edition Three of Airline Tail Colours.  This booklet measures 4-¾X7-¼ inches but it is packed with all of the information you will need for identifying today's liveries.  There are 590 colorful tail photos of the world's airlines.  Each photo is accompanied by codes explaining airline name, their 3-letter code for flight numbers, radio call sign prefix, international aircraft code prefix, and aircraft types used.  A two-page glossary of the codes is in the front of the booklet.  The booklet is published on high quality paper, no pulp, with all photos in good lighting conditions.  What more can I say.

Airline Tail Colours is available from Specialty Press at 1-800-895-4585 or by visiting www.specialtypress.com.  The volume sells for $14.95 plus shipping and handling at $4.95.

Specialty Press provided the review copy.   My thanks to John Noack for allowing me to review this volume.
