This bi-monthly magazine is a must for modelers (and aviation enthusiasts) interested in World War One aircraft. The magazine is published by Albatros Productions Ltd. in the UK who also publish the line of Windsock Datafiles and Specials.

This latest issue celebrates the ninetieth anniversary of the death of Baron Manfred von Richthofen. The coverage includes; a few photos of the Baron and his aircraft, profile and plan views of two versions of his aircraft 127/17, a review of a new book on the Baron and a review of a recent resin bust of the Baron.

In addition, this issue, like most issues, contains a wealth of great, interesting articles. George Haddow continues his series on various Austro-Hungarian Naval Aircraft with coverage of the Lohner Type S flying boat. This is like a mini datafile. It includes 13 well-chosen photos, three-color profiles and a 1/72 scale three-view drawing. This is the 13th in the series. This issue also includes; an update to the Hansa Brandenburg D.I Datafile to include photos of a sesquiplane version, some photos of the Grigorovich M.5 flying boat and some great photos and three full color profiles of front line RE8 aircraft. Also, a three view drawing of the Wight 'Converted' Seaplane is included. Finally, there are lots of photos and information about various models and a really interesting review of the Aeroclub Biplane Assembly Jig - Mk. II. This looks like a very handy tool for all biplane modelers.

Windsock Worldwide magazine can be obtained from selected outlets or directly from the publisher. Subscriptions are offered for both the magazine and for the regularly published Datafiles. Significant savings will result from a combined subscription. Full details and ordering forms can be obtained at their web site (see above). The web site provides summaries of recent issues of the magazine, a full listing of all Datafiles available as well as the various specials that they have published.

This magazine is well recommended to all modelers or aviation enthusiasts interested in World War One aircraft. I would like to express my thanks to Albatros Productions for kindly providing this sample for review.
