This publication contains 80 pages in full color and profile art by Don Greer, making it an absolute must have for anyone with an interest in rotorcraft. Some of the best detail photos of the cockpits, rotors, engine compartments and the like are found within, as well as 14 color profiles and 2 full paintings by Don Greer.

[review image] The author began flying in 1984 with OH-58C's and Ah-1F's in Germany. Next to Fort Hood to fly with the 1st Cavalry division, than off to war where he flew the 1st air combat mission in an AH-1F. He also holds the dubious distinction of having crashed the last AH-1F in Europe in 1994.

Then it was off to Bosnia in the Cobras and later to Desert Storm in Kiowa Warriors. He retired from active duty in 2001 with over 3,000 hours command time. His current status is a helopilot with the City of Baltimore Police Department.

While not a great amount of text, there is just enough coupled with photos making this one of the best reference sources for the Kiowa.

Very well presented, this publication rates a Most highly recommended. Many thanks to my favorite helodriver, Floyd Werner for the review sample.
