The ground attack mission is not glamorous and is very dangerous. The Henschel Hs-129 was designed to take over the ground attack mission from the Stuka. Slow, but with two engines, the Hs-129 was an instrumental ground attack aircraft.

This softbound book contains 96 pages of extremely useful information. Included in the photos are some previously unpublished ones, including the only two pictures I've seen of an operational Hs-129B-3 with a 75mm cannon. The quality of the photos is superb. There are two color profiles by Tom Tullis. There are a lot of clear wartime system photos and handbook drawings that will prove invaluable to the modeler.

This is a good overall book on the Hs-129. There is a lot of great information provided in the photographs.

I highly recommend this book. If you are looking for a one stop book at a reasonable price this is your book. It provides the modeler with all the information you need to detail your Hasegawa kit.

I would like to thank Specialty Press for the review sample.
