Right on the heels of Volume One is Volume Two, and it's just as good. There are 96 pages that take up right where Volume One ended and takes you to page 192. In the volume there are 140 black and white pictures, 5 color photos, 17 side view color plates, 3 unit emblems and 14 charts that depict everything from specific tail numbers in certain units to illustrations of attack formations. Rosters of all of the unit commanders are also given, as well as Order of Battle listings. As I stated in my review of Volume One, I could not wait to get to the G, which is my favorite. But, I did not realize until I got this book that there are so many D's that would be great modeling projects, as well.

This volume follows the development of the Ju 87 into the D and G versions and covers 1943 to 1945. Unlike most books on the Stuka which tell you a lot about Hans Ulrich Rudel and a little about the Stuka, this one is different. The aircraft and its value to the Luftwaffe is the main focus. The author goes into great detail on all of the campaigns that Ju 87 units participated in, up to the battle for Seelow Heights, the last Stuka engagement.

Once again, I'd like to thank John Noack of IPMS/USA for allowing me to review the second Stuka volume, and to Marie Norton, Promotions and Publicity Specialist, for providing the review sample.
