This new product is a god send to those of us who custom mix paints.  How many times have you written down a formula: x drops of this, y drops of that, and never had it come out the same color twice.  Well let me tell you, I tried this new product and mixed the same shade of yellow for my Dick Tracy Space Coupe twice (I ran out of paint from my first mix and had to mix a second batch).  I have been truly amazed at how easy this system makes mixing paint for any project.

Whether you are mixing paint with paint or paint with thinner, the mixtures are precise.  A further benefit with this product is if you mix too much paint, you can either store it in the extractor or in one of their sealed containers.  Cleanup is minimized because you extract the paint from the bottle with the same tool that you are mixing with.  This also reduces your exposure to paint and fumes.  Your paint life is extended because you reduce the paint’s contact with outside air.  The Precision Mix System products are all 100% guaranteed.

One of the nicest items in their product list is an attachment that allows you to quickly clean Badger and Paasche airbrushes.  This is the between color cleaning, and does not replace the disassembly cleaning at the end of a session.

The product list includes connectors, dispensers, storage containers, adapter caps, tip caps, and extenders.  They have adapter caps for Global Games Paint, Gunze, Alcad II, Mr. Color, Humbrol, Testors, Vallejo, Rustall, SnJ, Tamiya, Weatherall, Woodland Scenics, Aero Master, Lifecolor, Liquitex, Misterkit, Pactra, Polly Scale, Reaper Miniatures, Tamiya Mini, The Armory Paint, Black Gold, and Scalecoat.

This system allows you to mix paint in one of two ways – Dispenser to Dispenser or Dispenser into one container.  First you replace the manufacturer’s cap with an adapter cap, sealing the paint with either the attached plug or a dispenser.  You use the dispenser to remove the correct amount of paint x.  Then using another dispenser you remove the correct amount of paint y.  Join the two dispensers with a connector and mix the paint between the two dispensers (make sure that all the extracted paint is not more than what one of the dispensers will hold).  Once the paint is mixed, just disconnect the dispenser with the final paint color and put the paint into your paint bowl and shoot.  As long as you have noted the amount of paint x and paint y, you can recreate the color each and every time.
