MSRP $10.00 USD Due to high demand, Two Bobs Aviation Graphics has re-released their 1/48 scale AIM-120/AGM-88 Missile stencil decal sheet. This decal sheet includes enough to do four complete AIM-120B or four complete AIM-120C AMRAAM (Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile) as well as eight complete AGM-88C HARM (High-Speed Anti Radiation Missile). The AIM-120B/C is utilized by Navy F-18 and Air Force F-15C/E and F-16C aircraft. The AGM-88 can be employed by Navy and Marine F-18 and EA-6B and Air Force F-16 aircraft to satisfy the SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses) role. An excellent write up is included with the decal sheet, along with twenty walk around photos, which provides an in depth explanation and history for both weapons. |

I have chosen to use the AIM-120 stencils on the missiles that are part of the weapons load out for an F-16C I am building for our local Air Force Recruiter. The pictures below show one of the AIM-120 missiles. |

The stencils and colored identification bands for the AIM-120 are printed
on two separate carrier films. Although this probably made it easier for
printing purposes I thought it would be very awkward to try and wrap these
large films around the missile. I cut each stencil and ID band from the
sheet and placed them one at a time. This eliminated the chance of
silvering under the large carrier film and made the stencils easier to
place. This was very tedious and time consuming but the results were
worth it. The decals are very nicely printed and sharp enough to actually read some of the stencils! The decals responded very nicely to the Micro Sol/Micro Set system. They are accurate in color and registration and maintain the quality we are used to from Two Bobs. Also included is a decal placement and paint scheme guide. Paint color listings are provided for Testors Model Master, Gunze Sanyo, Xtracolor and Xtracrylics.
