If you like the Spitfire then Tally-Ho! has a decal sheet that you will want to add to your collection. The subject aircraft are typical of the Spitfire in Europe (Ocean Grey/Dark Green) and the desert, including air filters (Dark Earth/Mid Stone). There are two examples of both paint schemes. My personal favorite is the desert camouflaged Spit flown by American Major Robert Levine with a skull impaled with a knife, American flags, his signature and a uniquely shaped and colored aircraft code letters. There is a Belgium and Czech Squadron aircraft. The Czech machine has the typical European paint scheme but it also has a large touched up painted area aft of the British cockade on the fuselage. Included is a separate history sheet printed in English and Czech for each aircraft that adds some nice to know tidbits. On the back panel is a welcomed paint suggestion chart that includes FS numbers and stock numbers for six paint manufacturers. |
I highly recommend these decals. They are available through the Tally-Ho website at www.tallyho.cz for $7.00 US. Thanks to Tally-Ho for the review sample. |
