This colorful sheet has all the markings (and research) you need to build two striking Marauders. The shark mouth B-26C of 320BG/444BS has the names “My Darling” and “Agitator” in yellow, with an exquisitely rendered (even in 1/72!), reclining brunette. The yellow-with-black borders rear fuselage stripe decal is included. This aircraft will require some painting skill in that it is in natural metal finish with a light overspray of Medium Green (probably #42). The decal colors are opaque, and the very thin letters of “My Darling” are outlined in aluminum to blend into your model’s finish. The second B-26C is Lt. B. Seth’s “Mary Ann” from the 344 BG/494BS with a simple OD over Neutral Gray scheme. The name is yellow as are the bomb mission marks (you can add more in white if you want to show her as she appeared later on), with white K9 X codes and tail triangle. Mary Ann is standing up wearing a 1940’s two-piece swimsuit with a flower behind her ear. Nose stenciling is included. The sample decals were thin and in perfect register with minimal carrier film. The pin-up girl decal themselves are printed on solid decal sheet and have to be trimmed before applying over white background decal. PYN-up gives you two of each girl just in case one of them runs off with another pilot, or some other mishap befalls you. The full color instruction sheet includes a color photo of each aircraft, color drawings, bibliography; FS color references and brief histories. If you want the 1/72 sheet you better order yours now as they’re doing a limited run of 300 sheets – highly recommended!
