MSRP: $16.99 USD When you mention the P-39 the first thing that comes to my mind is Air-A-Cutie. The name is synonymous with nude nose art. This latest offering from Meteor Productions is the best set of decals available for this aircraft. The colors look to be as close to the real thing as you can get. I have the original Cutting Edge decals, the Super Scale (if I remember correctly), and I’ve seen the new release from Eduard but the PYN-ups are the best for the skin tones. Of course, you get all the other markings including the national insignias. The other aircraft on the sheet is a P-39N with a Keystone nude on the door. It is nice but after you see the large nudes on Air-A-Cutie it just looks small, however, the markings are very nice. The yellow tipped tail and nose are a nice variation on the normal SWP paint scheme. Typical of the PYN-up decals, they are thin, opaque, and in perfect register. You must follow the instructions as the decals are very thin and can be fragile. I highly recommend this sheet.
