This is Eagle Cals newest release covering 1/32 P-38.  They are designed for the beautiful new Trumpeter 1/32 P-38L or can be adapted for use on the old Revell 1/32 P-38J.  You get markings for the following two aircraft which most will recognize:

1. P-38L-1-LO, S/N 44-24155 "Pudgy (V)" flown by Major Thomas McGuire of the 431st Fighter Squadron.  The aircraft was the last of the Pudgy series of aircraft and it includes all 38 kill that Major McGuire got during his combat tour.  The aircraft is overall natural metal with anti glare panes and forward fuselage pod painted black.

2. P-38J-15-LO, S/N 43-28431 "Happy Jack's Go Buggy" flown by Capt. Jack Ilfrey of the 79th Fighter Squadron.  The aircraft is overall natural metal with olive drab anti glare panels.  Leading edge of the twin booms and spinners are yellow.

The decals themselves are in perfect register and show nearly zero carrier film.  You get enough national insignia and stencils to build one or the other.  The instructions are full color and provide plenty in the way of detail to make sure the decals are placed right.  Each aircraft also has a brief history written about it.  Considering the popularity of both of these aircraft I would recommend grabbing this sheet if you intend to build one as I will bet it will sell out.  My thanks to Judy and Jerry Crandall from Eagle Editions for the review sample.  The sheets can be ordered direct from Eagle Editions at www.eagle-editions.com.
