Well now, what can I say about EagleCals Decals that hasn’t already been said?  All the superlatives have already been over used.

These three sets each feature four aircraft of JG300 of the 1943 and 44 time frame.  There are a total of six Fw190’s and six Bf 109 G’s.  There is a mini history on each subject aircraft explaining the marking as depicted on the sheets.  I chose the Black 18 White 2 because the aircraft had been taken over from JG 54 and hurriedly remarked and had several features over sprayed.  When I received them for review I immediately got an old Otaki Fw190 and a Fujimi Bf 109 from my stash.  In about two weeks they were ready to decal.  I sprayed on a few layers of Testors Gloss Lacquer and as expected the decals went down without any problems and were compatible to the Micro Scale decal products.  I then had to do some painting over the markings per instructions.  Following that a few layers of Testors Dull Coat and assembly of the small bits and pieces I was finished.  The pictures speak for the quality of the decals well.

EagleCals can be purchased most good hobby shops or on line at www.eagle-editions.com.

Eagle Editions also carries a line of books relating to several USAAF and Luftwaffe squadrons and personalities.  Be sure to visit their web site and browse through the catalogs.

My thanks to Eagle Editions and John Noack of the Reviewer Corps for allowing me the opportunity to review these decals.
