Once in a while a decal
company this good makes a tremendous impact on the modeling community.
EagleCals has done just that. This set is specifically made for the new (well, sort of new) Hasegawa 1/32 Bf109G-6 kit. The register is perfect and what impresses me is included is a full sheet with national insignia and one with markings and stencils. The six page foldout is full of detail and pictures of the real machines and color side views for decal placement. You’re not just getting a decal sheet here guys, you’re getting reference material to build your own library! This sheet contains markings for 4 machines: White <<<, Oberst Hans Trautloft, JG54, summer 1943 Yellow 9, Fw. Emil Hecker, 9/JG 54, spring 1944 Black 14, pilot unknown, 8/JG1, February 1944 Black <<, Hptm. Anton Hackl, III./JG 11, Mid-January 1944. Most certainly your pile of 109's will grow with these outstanding sheets by EagleCals. These sheets are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and thanks to Judy and Jerry Crandall for producing such beautiful work! Sample sheet is courtesy of my moth eaten wallet. The EagleCals #42 sheet also deals with the magnificent Hasegawa 1/32 Bf109G-6. Again, the register and colors are perfect and the six page fold out is another great addition to my reference material. This set includes a full sheet for stencils and national markings and another sheet for personal emblems/spinners and a/c gruppen markings. Set #42 includes four A/C: "Mickey Mouse", Major Horst Carganico, II./JG 5, March 1944; "Yellow 16" 9./JG 77, Summer 1943; "Yellow 6”, Pilot Alfred Surau, 9./JG3, September 1943; "Black <<5", Gerhard Barkhorn, II./JG52. EagleCals are becoming a MUST for all of my currant and future W.W.II Axis Aircraft Markings. The product is outstanding and research impeccable.
