MSRP: $8.99 USD Following the release of Hasegawa’s “New-Tool” 1/32 Focke-Wulf FW-190A-8, Meteor Productions has produced several sheets of decals under their “Cutting Edge” line to compliment the new kit. “FW 190s Part 2” includes decals for “White 14”, an FW 190A-7 assigned to Sturmstaffel 1 (Spring 1944), and “Yellow 11”, an apparently field-applied designator of an unknown unit’s FW 190F-8 on the late-war Western Front. The sheets comprising my sample are in perfect register, as one would expect from this company. Researched from original photos and documented publications, the sheets include the Home Defense band for “White 14”, but no stenciling. These can be sourced from the kit’s sheet by the modeler. Cutting Edge has provided the modeler with aircraft-specific notes to aid the modeler, as well as full-color painting guides and a color cross-reference listing (standard for CE decal products). These decal sheets are $8.99 and available from Meteor Productions. Highly recommended, particularly as an excuse to buy more big-scale Focke-Wulfs!
