MSRP: $6.99 USD This sheet represents the end of the line for a fantastic bomber. The decals encompass a change of camouflage and markings and allow the modeler plenty of late war and post war options. This sheet is designed around the late war marking which showed a shift to an aluminum camouflage finish overall. Cutting Edge has both the stars and bars in blue and white and a grayed out star and bar on this sheet. Strangely, Cutting Edge doesn’t show or indicate that you can also do the post war markings of stars and bars with a red striped bar. The red stripe is on the sheet so if you wanted to build a post war bomber this is the sheet for you. This sheet is designed for a mid to post war B-17F/G. Cutting Edge recommends the Monogram B-17G by itself or with the Cutting Edge B17E/F conversion sets or the Revell B-17F. Whichever kit you choose these markings will greatly enhance the kit. The decals are in perfect register, thin and opaque. They should respond well with any setting solution. I highly recommend this sheet for anyone contemplating building a mid to post-war B-17.
