Roundtable/Action Item Updates

PP – No updates at this time other than the State of the Society draft has been sent to the Eboard for review and feedback.

JN – New suppliers added for the reviewer corps. Still having difficulty giving away 60th anniversary prizes and may start calling winners to get them out. The Industry Appreciation Dinner will be a little different this year, it will consist of heavy hors d’oeuvres and will include sponsors as well as vendors....

MVS- Working on cleaning up the spreadsheets of addresses before sending to spectra print for billing. 5,080 total journals are going out for the Nov/Dec issue. 4,790 mailed within the USA, 78 to foreign addresses, and 212 are being sent with expiration notice. Should be mailing out pins this coming week now that envelopes and labels have been handled. Has also been helping members take advantage of the 60th anniversary membership option.

EA- The review site theme is in need of an update and will work on re-building the theme but this will result in the site being offline for a day or two. A message will be posted so the members are aware.

MVS- Working on getting the 60th anniversary pins out to members. Envelopes have been purchased and now working on the labels. Due to increasing costs of postage, the cost of purchasing additional copies of the Journal will increase from $5 to $7....

John Figueroa had resigned his position as the IPMS/USA Director of Local Chapters (DLC) to concentrate his efforts as the Chairman of the IPMS/USA 2026 National Convention. The Executive Board would like to thank John for his exemplary service as DLC, and know he'll continue to bring his exceptional skill set to preparing for 2026 in Fort Wayne.

The IPMS/USA Executive Board has appointed Bob Delaney, currently the IPMS/USA Region 14 Coordinator, to fill the remainder of John's term. Please welcome Bob to your Executive Board.

If you bite on the initial email, they then ask you to buy some gift cards to award to members.  IPMS/USA is never going to ask members to make a purchase for us.  This is a typical fraud scam and you probably get similar ones on a daily basis.

John Figueroa, the Director of Local Chapters, has collected suggestions from chapters on their best practices. Chapters can adopt these practices as is. In no way are these practices meant to be a directive from IPMS/USA.

The attached Best Practice is a spreadsheet giving chapter treasurers ways to track revenue and expenses. A member listing spreadsheet is also included.
