To the Membership of IPMS/USA,
The results of this year’s officer elections and amendment referendum have been tabulated and verified and are available for your review below. In short, all officers were running unopposed, and were confirmed by the vote. All proposed amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws were approved by a majority of a sufficient number of the membership, to make a valid response as required in the By-Laws. The specific totals for each line item are included below.
The Executive Board of IPMS/USA appreciates your participation in the election process. Your participation and feedback are critical to the success of our Society.

IPMS/USA Membership Total as of 9/1/23: 4,921
10% of membership total votes required = 492
675 Votes received online
165 Votes received via Mail/Ballot Box
840 Total Ballots Eligible = 17% of the membership, and 348 votes above the threshold required by the By-Laws.
*Due to an error in the “Yes” or “No” choices in the online poll on Amendment 12, the word “Option” appeared instead. This only affected the ballot for those choosing to vote for each Amendment individually. Because of this we could not determine if the individual online votes for Amendment 12 were yes or no, so we counted them all as no. Those who voted Yes for all 12 Amendments as a whole far outnumbered the no votes. As you can see this had no impact on the outcome. None of the other Amendments had this issue.
