- Bid Presentation Meeting at Orlando Convention will be extended from one to two hours in order to accommodate the possibility of an increase in the number of presentations due to the potential of increased interest in hosting 2014 since it is the 50th Anniversary of IPMS/USA.

- Convention Website Update:
In the past week several updates were added to the website.
- Added an FAQ
- Posted a tentative schedule. This is a work in progress and it is noted so.
- Added seminars. Seminar speakers so far. Dick Montgomery (Support the Troops), Jim Mesko (Pacific Armor), Cookie Sewell (T-72 and T-80), Dana Bell (Aviation on battleships and cruisers between the world wars), Tom Grossman (Iwata airbrushes) and Randy Cooper (Movie Model / Prop Maker). There are a few more seminar speakers in the works at this time.
- We have put an update on the Raffle page with vendors that have made donations for the raffle.
- Added a link for volunteers to sign-up.
- Added images of the Convention t-shirt image to help drive sales as noted last year in Omaha. Also have sent this to Eric Aitala 05/12/12 to update the shopping cart.
- Added images of the trophies.
- 2013 Update
- Plans are proceeding with no issues being reported at this time.
- 2014 Update
- Updated parameters for 50th Anniversary Convention have been made available.
- 2016 Update
- A group has expressed interest in hosting the 2016 convention.

- M.A.P. program terminated….we have reached the end of the available inventory of kits for the M.A.P. program.
- STT Growth – For a number of years the only program in the STT was IPMS Wounded Warriors (located in San Antonio at Brooke Army Med Ctr). We now have five programs, two international and three domestic, with a 3rd international program awaiting approval from local officials prior to activation. These numbers are subject to change. Those who are administering projects that are not included on the website at http://www.ipmsusa3.org/gallery/v/stt/ are encouraged to contact the IPMS Secretary at ipmssec@ipmsusa.org.
- Donations have increased with the help of Fine Scale Modeler and Aaron Skinner. A short article about the program appeared and potential donors are making contact regarding the program.
