Continuing Fabrication

1. Review the decal sheet and select you model’s markings that you prefer. Remove the decals one at a time from the sheet using a new #11 blade or a small pair of sharp scissors and apply to model as referenced below.

2. To remove the decal from the carrier sheet use warm water for best results. Choose the starting point for the application of the decals that you prefer.

3. When applying the decals follow this sequence. As the decal is releasing form the carrier in the water bath apply Micro Set (Blue Bottle) using a small brush or cotton Q Tip to the area on the model where this decal will be located. This will allow the decal to soften and improve adhesion to the model. Next slid the decal off the carrier onto the model and position. Blot any excess water and setting solution with a non-lint soft cloth or paper tissue and gentle apply pressure to the decal in preparation for applying the Micro Sol (Red Bottle) setting solution. Install all the remaining decals for this model, and set aside to dry.

Assembly Tip: There are many types of setting solutions available for use in applying decals. You may wish to experiment with other brands and choose one, which you are comfortable with using.

4. After the decals have thoroughly dried, carefully wipe down the decals with a damp soft lint free cloth to remove any decal glue or setting solution residue.
